Wellness Connection of the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center is sponsoring an Asthma Fair for Adults and Children

NEW BEDFORD -- In celebration of Asthma Awareness Month, the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center is sponsoring an Asthma Fair for Adults and Children on Friday, May 21, 2010 at its Wellness Connection, 874 Purchase Street. Staff members from the Health Center will be available to check breathing and oxygen levels and to show how Peak Flow Meters can help keep you out of the hospital. Visitors will also be able to consult with representatives from the Benefits Department, insurance plans, and Healthy Home Programs. Translators will be available. Attendees will be able to enter a free raffle to win a nebulizer and a Peak Flow Meter.

The Asthma Fair will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the Wellness Connection, 874 Purchase Street, New Bedford.
