Wellness Connection of the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center is sponsoring an Asthma Fair for Adults and Children

In celebration of Asthma Awareness Month, the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center is sponsoring an Asthma Fair for Adults and Children on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at its Wellness Connection, 874 Purchase Street. Staff members from the Health Center will be available to check breathing and oxygen levels. They will also demonstrate the proper use of inhalers, spacers, nebulizers, and peak flow meters. Visitors will also be able to consult with representatives from insurance plans, Healthy Home Programs, and Respiratory Solutions. Translators will be available.

The Asthma Fair will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Wellness Connection, 874 Purchase Street, New Bedford.
