Santa’s Elves help to distribute toys and clothing at the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center
NEW BEDFORD, MA -- December 8th was a very special day at the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center. A group of employees converted office space into a magical winter wonderland, donned their elf costumes, and helped Santa distribute toys and clothing to 1,500 children.
The Health Center employees who call themselves “Santa’s Elves” work year round obtain the toys and clothing that are distributed. They hold fundraisers, they contact donors, they bake, and they shop. For them, it is a labor of love!
The Elves (employees) of the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center extend their heartfelt thanks for the generosity of the local businesses and members of the community who made this an unforgettable day for the children and their families.
