Greater New Bedford Community Health Center welcomes Richard S. Ferri, ANP

The Greater New Bedford Community Health Center is pleased to welcome Richard Ferri, Adult Nurse Practitioner in the Infectious Disease Department. Richard earned his Master of Science degree in Primary Health Care Nursing from Simmons College. He is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP).

Richard Ferri has extensive experience as a provider in infectious disease and in the primary care of patients with HIV and hepatitis C. He was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) and is active in several professional nursing associations.

Not only is Richard a health care provider, he is also a certified personal fitness trainer believing that fitness and health go together. Currently his list of health care writing and editing activities include eHow.com, Addicus Books, Medscape, and WebMD.
