Denise Gagnon, NP, joins the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center
NEW BEDFORD -- Denise Gagnon is a board certified nurse practitioner with broad experience in clinical research, pulmonology, and pediatrics. She was the Human Research Program Coordinator in the Dermatology Department of Massachusetts General Hospital, a pediatric pulmonary and allergy nurse practitioner at Tufts New England Medical Center, and a graduate nursing faculty member at Simmons College.
Ms Gagnon received a BS degree in exercise physiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, a BSN from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a MSN, CPNP from Simmons College. Her special interest is dealing with the national epidemic of obesity.
Ms Gagnon will have dual responsibilities in Pediatrics and the Wellness Connection where she will be seeing asthma and obesity patients.
