Golfers play to benefit Wellness Connection at the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center

Fall River, MA - The 18th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament for the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center took place at the Fall River Country Club. Over 90 golfers participated in this popular annual event. Golf Committee Chairman, Jean Desrosiers, thanked the donors, golfers, sponsors, and volunteers for their generosity in raising over $20,000 for the Wellness Connection programs. The Wellness Connection is a weight management, smoking cessation, and diabetic teaching center providing motivational weight management programs, nutrition counseling, and behavioral counseling and support. Walgreens, which provides full pharmacy services on the Health Center campus, and Robert Feingold, Esq. were the major sponsors of this fund-raiser.
