Golfers play to benefit the Dental and Geriatric Programs at the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center

The 19th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament for the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center took place at the Fall River Country Club on June 11. Over 90 golfers participated in this popular annual event. Golf Committee Chairman, Jean Desrosiers, thanked the donors, golfers, sponsors, and volunteers for their generosity in raising over $30,000 for the Dental and Geriatric programs.

The tournament was dedicated to the late John Ford, Director of Facilities at the Health Center. John was a loyal and committed volunteer for the Golf Tournament for 18 years. Walgreens, which provides full pharmacy services on the Health Center campus, Robert Feingold, Esq., and Mrs. John Ford were the major sponsors of this fund-raiser.
