Greater New Bedford Community Health Center welcomes
Dr. Leonard J. Morse as Special Advisor

NEW BEDFORD, MA -- The Greater New Bedford Community Health Center (GNBCHC) is pleased to welcome Dr. Leonard J. Morse as a special consultant on medical affairs to the Health Center’s administrators. This is not the first time that Dr. Morse has been associated with GNBCHC. Upon retiring from private practice in 1996, he began a new career as Chief Medical Officer of the Health Center.

Dr. Morse is Past President of both the Massachusetts Medical Society and Worcester District Medical Society. He was also Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester and an infectious disease specialist. A highly respected physician, teacher, and leader, he has received numerous awards acknowledging his contributions to his profession, students, and patients.
