Second Annual Bridge to Wellness 5K Road Race to benefit the Wellness Connection at the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center

The Second Annual Bridge to Wellness 5K Road Race will be held on May 29, 2011 starting at 10:00 am. The unique route starts in historic downtown New Bedford, crosses the Fairhaven Bridge, and returns to New Bedford. Before May 25th, the registration fee is $20. Thereafter and on race day, the fee is $25. Entry fees are non-refundable. Racers can register on-line at www.jbrace.com or they can download the application and mail it in. Information is included on the website regarding the schedule, T-shirts, cash awards, ribbon awards, and age groups. Proceeds from the race will go to support Wellness Connection programs. The Wellness Connection offers education, support, and reinforcement on weight loss, diabetic self-management, smoking cessation, and exercise.
